A Journey in Parenthood

Congratulations, you have made into the club! This is a wonderful time in your life. You love your new child. You have read all the parenting books and gotten all the advice you need to be a wonderful parent. Great job!  But with this new life comes new responsibilities. Diapers, feedings, sleep schedules (or lack thereof!), medical appointments, and the list goes on.
  • Establish a routine that works for you
  • Provide emotional support
  • Get you back to your old self faster
  • Help you manage issues surrounding adopting a child into the family
  • Help guide you in making career decisions
  • Rebuild your relationship with your partner
  • My child does not sleep through the night and I am exhausted
  • Okay breastfeeding hurts but I feel guilty not doing it
  • I feel frumpy and out of shape – how am I going to lose this weight?
  • I miss my old life; will I ever be able to go back to it?
  • I need more help because I am a single parent/adoptive parent
  • I'm in a relationship that has step children and not sure how to incorporate them into my life
  • The relationship between my partner and I has changed. What do I do?
  • Should I go back to work full time, part time, stay at home or change careers?
  • I am scared my child may have/has special needs and I do not know what to do
